This weeks Development League fixture saw Kemnay entertain Banchory Hawks at Bogbeth Park.
With entertain being the best way to describe the match which was played in an excellent sporting manner.
It was Banchory who were first on the attack and a good save by Rhys kept the score goalless. Kemnay were defending well and some excellent tackles by Archie and Brett who were helping our their defence helped save the day.

Our Development League adventure continued with the short trip to Inverurie to play Colony Colts. Played in glorious sunshine it was the perfect day for football.
With regular goalkeeper Rhys unavailable it gave some other members of the squad an opportunity to play in goals. Scott, Keiron and Samuel put themselves forward to take their place between the sticks.

The gale force winds that battered Kemnay on Saturday had thankfully subsided and it was a beautiful day for football in Bogbeth Park. Kemnay FC Juve welcomed Fraserburgh for this Development League fixture. The home side was forced into a slight re-shuffle as Archie was away for the weekend. So it was Matthew Robertson who took his place in goals. Reuben and Cameron played at the back, the midfield consisted of Lewis, Liam and Mason and Ethan started the game as striker. This meant Matthew Law and Sebastian started on the bench.

This match took place at North Lodge Park, the home of the Highland league newcomers Formartine Utd.
In Derek Brown's absence, assistant coach Neil Beaton took the squad for this game.
In a close game, both teams played excellent football and the final scoreline did not do KFC Milan justice.
Lewis Beaton scored the solitary goal for Milan, as Formartine ran out 5-1 winners. The Milan squad tired towards the end of the game, as they only had 7 of their squad available for the match.

Our first home game on the season on a Sunny Sunday morning @ Bogbeth Park.
KFC Milan kicked off the game and within 15 secs Reece Brown had finished off a great cross from Lewis Beaton to go 1-0 up. Reece had various shots at goal, but the busy Muggiemoss Keeper was a match for anything the Kemnay players shot at him. Muggiemoss managed to get a couple of goals and got themselves back into the match at 2-1.

Later than planned the game against Newmachar kicked off at 12:15, right from the start the play was exciting with the teams being very evenly matched. To use a cliche it was end to end play. Courtney Gray got in a very early shot and was unlucky to miss, seconds later the play was down the other end with Duncan Mutch having to make an excellent save.

K2000 started their first game of the new season, against a strong team who travelled down from Peterhead.
The first period saw both teams start brightly, with Kemnay creating a couple of decent chances that were saved by the Peterhead keeper. The 'Blue Toon' started to get on top a little, and managed to score 4 in this part of the game.
K2000 replied through the ever buoyant Nathan Sangster, who celebrated his fine finish with a trademark somersault, which seemed to defy all the laws of gravity!
