Kemnay FC Juve v Dyce BC

When Where
9 May 2010 10:30am Bogbeth Park, Kemnay

For the last Development League fixture of the 2009/2010 season Kemnay welcomed Dyce Boys Club to Bogbeth Park on a fine if chilly morning.

The home team preparations had been hampered somewhat. Reuben was off dashing around Dunecht, Matthew Robertson made a playing return after several weeks away due to a nasty bout of glandular fever and Cameron called off on the morning of the game due to a nasty cough. Reece was hastily drafted in to augment the squad. And so it was a re-shuffled Kemnay that squared up to Dyce.

Glentanar BC 5 v K2001 8

When Where
9 May 2010 10:30am

Our final League Development game of the season saw us make the trip into Aberdeen to play Glentanar.

On a beautiful sunny morning it seems ridiculous that this should be our last game given the weather we had to endure over the winter months. The idea of summer football which is coming soon certainly seems a good one.

The game started with Glentanar on the attack from the kick off with some good football and they were certainly getting encouragement from their coach who was acting as an extra man given he was on the pitch the whole game (and he wasn't refereeing).

Kemnay FC Juve v ALC Lewis Colts

When Where
25 Apr 2010 10:30am Bogbeth Park, Kemnay

Kemnay FC Juve 6 ALC Lewis Colts 2

Kemnay welcomed ALC Lewis Colts to Bogbeth Park on a glorious morning for football. For the second week in succession the squad was depleted by illness. Matthew Robertson was missing for the second week following a nasty bout of tonsilitis and Mason succumbed to a sickness bug the day before the game - coincidentally the same day that his dad got the barbeque out for the first time in the year. Now I'm told that it had nothing to do with undercooked burgers...that's Spikes story and he's sticking to it!!

Colony Park 6 v K2001 2

When Where
25 Apr 2010 10:30am

On a beautiful sunny morning we made the short trip to Port Elphinstone for the local derby against Colony Colts.

With perfect overhead conditions we were entertained by two teams intent on passing the ball and trying to play the beautiful game as it was intended.

The game started with Colony putting the Kemnay defence under pressure but with Archie in the heart of defence they stood firm with some solid tackles and excellent interceptions. Archie was ably assisted by Zoe and Calum.
