HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEMNAY FOOTBALL CLUB
Kemnay Football Club was founded 30 years ago this year. We are currently considering a few ideas to mark this occasion, over and above the Dinner and other fundraising events so watch this space for future updates. We are hoping to publish a booklet celebrating the first 30 years of our Club so if any of you have any archive photos that we could use, please contact me.
DONS SIGN UP KEMNAY FC STARLET
Aberdeen have made their first signing of the transfer window to bolster their squad ahead of a tough game against Celtic this weekend by signing up Scott Webster of KFC2001. He wont be signing professional forms just yet but he will be the Dons mascot this weekend – enjoy the day Scott and if anyone is going to the game, be sure to give him a big cheer!!
GRAND XMAS RAFFLE AND DRAW
I’m delighted to report that the Christmas Prize Draw raised a fantastic net sum of £1895.00. Special thanks are due to Ally and Claire Campbell and the fundraising team for their organisation, to all the team co-ordinators for their assistance in putting together the fantastic team hampers and to all the players and their mums and dads who sold raffle tickets and donated prizes.
FUNDRAISING DINNER
The dinner is booked for Saturday 12th September at the Marriott Hotel in Dyce. To date we have sold 9 of 26 tables with expressions of interest from other organisations. Please spread the word and advertise this event at your respective organisations and help us sell the remaining tables. Additionally if there are any groups of parents considering taking a table, be sure to get your requests in early as these are available strictly on a first come first served basis.
DFS AGREEMENT
We’re pleased to announce that Kemnay FC has reached an agreement in principle for DFS to become our sole supplier of football strips, tracksuits, training gear and equipment. Further discussions will be ongoing in the weeks ahead, however one benefit of this arrangement is that all Kemnay FC players will benefit from a Club discount for purchases of football boots, shin guards and goalkeeping gloves.

Tickets for the Race Night and Quiz Night will be available nearer the time. The Bowling Club has been booked for the evening of 16 May for a post-tournament soiree to which everyone would be welcome.
