For the last Development League fixture of the 2009/2010 season Kemnay welcomed Dyce Boys Club to Bogbeth Park on a fine if chilly morning.
The home team preparations had been hampered somewhat. Reuben was off dashing around Dunecht, Matthew Robertson made a playing return after several weeks away due to a nasty bout of glandular fever and Cameron called off on the morning of the game due to a nasty cough. Reece was hastily drafted in to augment the squad. And so it was a re-shuffled Kemnay that squared up to Dyce.

Kemnay welcomed ALC Lewis Colts to Bogbeth Park on a glorious morning for football. For the second week in succession the squad was depleted by illness. Matthew Robertson was missing for the second week following a nasty bout of tonsilitis and Mason succumbed to a sickness bug the day before the game - coincidentally the same day that his dad got the barbeque out for the first time in the year. Now I'm told that it had nothing to do with undercooked burgers...that's Spikes story and he's sticking to it!!

It was a skeleton Kemnay squad that headed for Cults to play Culter Boys in the latest Development League fixture. Matthew Robertson unfortunately missed the game through illness, Cameron sustained an injury at training the previous Friday and Liam became the first team member to be affected by volcanic ash, being stranded in Shetland! Nevertheless seven was enough to play the game so we kicked off on a fine morning in fine fettle.

Kemnay welcomed Sheddocksley BC to Bogbeth Park on a glorious morning for football. After weeks of poor weather it was fantastic to be playing under blue skies once again - Summer football anyone?

On a cold April morning down by the beach Kemnay were playing away to Cove BC. Reuben Gedge was our only player missing from the line up this week. The pitch was not in the best of condition and uneven, but this did not put any of the two teams off playing what was to be a very good game of football.

Unfortunately we were missing 2 of our players for this fixture Matthew Law and Archie Simmons due to Holidays. Fortunately we were able to call on the services of the Milan goalkeeper Calum Wilson. Due to the home pitches being congested this morning, Kemnay Juve had a later kick off. The weather was wet and cold but the pitch was in good condition for the local Derby game.

With Reuben off competing in a running event and Liam ill, it was a slightly depleted Kemnay squad that made the journey to Banchory for this Development League fixture. And after so many missed games due to adverse weather the game kicked off under clear blue skies and perfect conditions.

Kemnay made the trip to Cults for their latest Development League fixture against Paul Lawrie Foundation, previously known as FDS and from this point forward in the report to be known as PLF! Kemnay welcomed back Ethan following an enforced absence following a broken wrist sustained during a school ski trip and so had a full strength squad to choose from.

With Bogbeth Park still covered in a layer of snow, this fixture was switched to the Aberdeen Sports Village and the excellent astroturf surface there. This proved to be a good choice, giving the kids an opportunity to play in perfect conditions and the spectators a chance to avoid the cold weather and to grab themselves a tasty coffee from the on site Starbucks!

Kemnay made the trip to Aberdeen for their latest Development League fixture. With the weather having been so poor, this was to be only their second since November and with Albion BC the opponents it promised to be a tough fixture.
