Kemnay 96 have a real team ethic, win, lose or draw together, they will all take great pride in Sean’s achievement.

 

Sean has been with Kemnay FC since he was 4 and is one of the clubs longest serving players. He trained with a rag tag group called the under-8’s (before we had the current structure), who trained on Sunday mornings. The only indoor slot we had was with the under-10 girls team, so he trained with them. Proof that it’s always good to get kicked around at a young age. He attended Aberdeen’s football coaching sessions in the academy, also very worthwhile. Sean had 4 excellent years with Kemnay 97 and the expert coaching of Brian Cheyne, twice winning player of the year. He was also part of the squad that won the Kemnay P6 tournament. In 2008 Sean moved up an age group to Kemnay 96 to develop his strength, skills and experience of other positions. He was last year’s player of the year. Coach Blayre says, “Sean has worked hard for this opportunity and thoroughly deserves his place in the SFA trials.”
