KFC 94 had a disappointing day in blustery Fraserburgh today where they recorded their first defeat in the league.
Some could argue that a dodgy refereeing decision when it looked as if a fraserburgh forward had kicked the ball out of goalkeeper's Cheyne's hands cost the league leaders but in reality nervous defending and a lot of indecision had led Fraserburgh to come back into the game when they looked previously out of it.
Number of fixtures for season 2010/11
I have been informed by the association that it is the intention to play our opponents in the league home and away only. If the league finishes early there is a possibility that an extra cup competition will be created for "B" league teams.
Shiranthi Mountford
It is only fair that we mention the excellent contribution this lady has made thus far to the under 17's / 1994 project this season.
I say "project" because it was highly likely that the 1994 set up at Kemnay was going to collapse before it ever started. Much of what has happened in the close season has been due to Shiranthi's diligence and powers of persuasion to ensure a squad was able to participate in this seasons league and cup fixtures.

The seniors recorded their first home win of the new season today at a showery Bogbeth Park.
The gaffer emphasised the need to start on the "front foot" and this proved to be the case in the early stages of the game with Kemnay going 1-0 up after A GERRARD strike
This was soon cancelled out with a well flighted free kick to the back post which the Byron player ghosted in with a headed goal.

KFC U 17's first game of the 2010/11 season was at Gordon Park Ellon......the display proved to be similar to the previous friendly outings against Formartine and Huntly. The Kemnay fans were witness to an entertaining display from the squad.
